Bock requests assessment: impeccable quality for all products

The care bed manufacturer Hermann Bock GmbH (www.bock.net) located at Verl, Germany, has asked for a so-called “voluntary product assessment” from the TÜV Süd. The well-known German notified body and testing organization has now announced the results: all products applied for have passed the assessment with flying colors. At the same time the company quality management of Hermann Bock GmbH was subjected to a certification audit according to the international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Concerning the independent voluntary product assessments Bock is part of the pioneers of the industry sector: “According to our knowledge, no other care bed manufacturer has asked for such a consistent independent evaluation and assessment”, stated Managing Director Dr. Stefan Kettelhoit: “We know how much excellence in product quality is valued by our customers. In addition, for us as a manufacturer such a decided surveillance of the product quality is a unique feature.”

As of now, the results of the TÜV-examinations are publicly available in the certification data base of the TÜV Süd. The quality management certificates for ISO 9001 „Quality management systems“ and ISO 13485 „Quality management systems for the design and manufacturing of medical devices“ are available for download on the website (www.bock.net).
