4. data collection on this website
Cookies
Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server enquiry
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested.
We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
Enquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, we will store and process your enquiry including all personal data (name, enquiry) for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of the enquiries addressed to us.
The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to utilise the service or to bill the user.
The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
5. analysis tools and advertising
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the use of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser plugin
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Objection to data collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent your data from being collected on future visits to this website: .
You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.
Order processing
We have concluded an order processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Storage duration
Data stored by Google at user and event level that is linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs (e.g. DoubleClick cookies, Android advertising ID) is anonymised or deleted after 50 months. Details can be found at the following link: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/7667196?hl=de
Google Analytics Remarketing
This website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in conjunction with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This function makes it possible to link the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behaviour on one end device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given your consent, Google will link your web and app browsing history to your Google account for this purpose. In this way, the same personalised advertising messages can be displayed on every device on which you sign in with your Google account.
To support this function, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs that are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data in order to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently object to cross-device remarketing/targeting by deactivating personalised advertising by following this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.
The data collected in your Google account is summarised exclusively on the basis of your consent, which you can give or revoke at Google (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). For data collection processes that are not merged in your Google account (e.g. because you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merging), the collection of data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest arises from the fact that the website operator has an interest in the anonymised analysis of website visitors for advertising purposes.
Further information and the data protection provisions can be found in Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de.
6th Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the cancellation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time.
You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
7. plugins and tools
YouTube with extended data protection
This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video. However, the transfer of data to YouTube partners is not necessarily excluded by the extended data protection mode. For example, YouTube establishes a connection to the Google DoubleClick network regardless of whether you watch a video.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on this website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Furthermore, YouTube can store various cookies on your end device after starting a video. With the help of these cookies, YouTube can obtain information about visitors to this website. This information is used, among other things, to record video statistics, improve user-friendliness and prevent fraud attempts. The cookies remain on your end device until you delete them.
After starting a YouTube video, further data processing operations may be triggered over which we have no influence.
The use of YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information about data protection at YouTube can be found in their privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google Web Fonts
This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the standardised display of fonts. The Google fonts are installed locally. There is no connection to Google servers.
Google Maps (with consent)
This website uses the Google Maps map service via an API. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
To ensure data protection on this website, Google Maps is deactivated when you access this website for the first time. A direct connection to Google's servers is only established when you activate Google Maps yourself (consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). This prevents your data from being transmitted to Google the first time you enter the site.
After activation, Google Maps will save your IP address. This is then usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer once Google Maps has been activated.
You can find more information on the handling of user data in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
hCaptcha
To protect our website from abusive, automated access, we use the hCaptcha service provided by hCaptcha, Inc. (hereinafter "hCaptcha"). hCaptcha pursues a data protection-friendly approach and only collects the data - such as IP address, browser and device information and other interaction metadata - that is necessary to ensure system security and to prevent bot activity. The principle of data minimisation (zero PII) is consistently applied, meaning that personal data is only stored temporarily and anonymised or deleted immediately after the purpose has been fulfilled. Processing takes place predominantly in regional data centres within the European Union and, where necessary, in the USA - always in compliance with the data protection standards required by the GDPR, for example through the use of standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and participation in the EU-US, UK-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Frameworks. For more information on hCaptcha's technical and organisational measures, please refer to the service provider's privacy policy at https://www.hcaptcha.com/gdpr
8. own services
Handling of applicant data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by e-mail, post or online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that your data will be collected, processed and used in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.
Scope and purpose of data collection
If you send us an application, we will process your associated personal data (e.g. contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is § 26 BDSG-new under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and - if you have given your consent - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to persons who are involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data submitted by you will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of § 26 BDSG-new and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the purpose of implementing the employment relationship.
Retention period of the data
If we are unable to make you a job offer, you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and the physical application documents destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will only be deleted when the purpose for further storage no longer applies.
Longer storage may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
9. tracking
Matomo analysis tool
The web analysis service we use, Matomo, enables us to analyse the use of our website using statistics. This enables us to constantly improve our website and make it more attractive for you as a user*.
We use Matomo with an extension to anonymise IP addresses. By automatically shortening the IP address before further processing, it is not possible to draw any conclusions about a specific person; the data is not merged with other data collected by us, nor is it passed on to third parties.
If our website or individual pages of it are accessed, the following data is stored:
- two bytes of the IP address of the accessing system (anonymised)
- Your location (country)
- Date and time of access
- Operating system used
- Type and version of the browser you are using
- the specific website accessed
- the website from which your visit originates (referrer URL), unless your browser prohibits this
- Pages and files of our website
- the time spent on our website
- the frequency of visits to our website or individual pages visited
- the website you visit after ours if you follow an external link we have placed.
- Tracking takes place without the use of cookies.
The hosting and thus the storage and processing of collected data is carried out by us at Vautron AG in Regensburg, exclusively in Germany on German servers.
Objection to the use of the anonymisation tool Matomo
If you no longer agree to the anonymous storage and analysis of your visit data, you can object to the use and storage at any time by clicking below.
By means of a so-called opt-out cookie (deactivation cookie), which is stored in your browser, it is technically ensured that no more session data is collected.
To prevent the further use of Matomo, you have the option of activating the opt-out plug-in described above by unchecking the box below:
If you do not give us your consent to the Matomo cookie request, the "Do not Track" function will be activated in our Matomo installation. If your browser supports this function and you have activated this function in your browser settings, Matomo will not collect any data, even if the aforementioned deactivation cookie is not used.
10. chatbot
Use of the chatbot from AI SolutionX
The German company AI SolutionX offers a chatbot for integration into websites and online shops. The requests recorded by the chatbot are transmitted to OpenAI via the official OpenAI API. OpenAI is a company based in the USA: OpenAI, L.P. 3180 18th Street San Francisco, CA 94110 USA. No personal data is transmitted unless you explicitly provide it in the chat. It is expressly pointed out that the transmitted data will not be used to train artificial intelligence.
Processing of personal data
When you interact with the chatbot, we process personal data in the following circumstances:
- When you enter a contribution with personal data in the chat window.
- When you provide personal data via the feedback function.
The following data is always processed when you use the chatbot
- Date and time of access.
- Notification of whether the request was successful.
No user IP addresses are transmitted or stored.
Use of the data
The data transmitted when using the chatbot is used by the operator of this website to answer your questions and to improve the response behaviour of the chatbot. Only the text is stored by the system and no other user data. It is therefore not possible to identify the user. The chat data is deleted after 60 days at the latest. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b and f GDPR. The data will not be passed on to third parties or otherwise analysed unless there is a legal obligation to do so (Art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR). This data is also not merged with other data sources.
Data security
Your data is transmitted to the chatbot securely via SSL encryption (transport encryption). Content data is not encrypted. Access to the chatbot's systems is protected by firewalls that prevent unauthorised access from outside.
Your rights
You have the right to request information about the personal data processed by us at any time. You can also request the rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing and the right to data portability. Please use the contact address below for this purpose.
